MAMEWAH & FCEultra help!
« on: August 09, 2003, 08:17:04 pm »
I have my settings, I think, correct. When I try to load a game from MAMEwah i get "Error Loading"  and some short numeric code, depending on the rom it is trying to load. Anyone have an idea why i can't load up FCEultra/nes roms with MAMEwah?

Thanks!

Not sure what might be going on, but ensure you have your Show dos box, send rom path and send rom extensions set to true.

Here is my config for FCEUltra if it helps.

THANKS! I GUESS I NEEDED SEND ROM PATH/EXTENSION SET TO TRUE. WORKING NOW.  ;D

Hey, once your in fceultra, how do you exit it back to MAMEwah? I have to use F12 to close it out. Once I put this in my cab, what do I do? Can I change the key to ESC?

Thanks!

Unfortunately you can't configure the Esc Key in FCEUltra.  I use a program called "Hot Keyboard" which enables me to assign a key that will call an "Alt+F4" allowing me to close any open window with the one keystroke (mapped to a button on my cab).

If you need a NES emulator that you can exit with Esc, try VirtuaNES.
