Replacement / substitute chassis for a WG 19K7302
« on: September 14, 2010, 12:41:09 pm »
Can anyone tell me if there is a replacement  or substitute chassis available for a Wells Gardner 19K7302 19" monitor? I believe the neck socket is a CR31 (it's a 10 pin connector). From what I read, these were a limited run monitor with 2 types of flybacks, and a few folks have told me that a replacement flyback may not be available. I re-capped the board, but I got no change in performance - the image is very faint and almost completely washed out of color. There IS neck glow, but it's not as intense as I normally see on other monitors.

The ferrite around the flyback is cracked about 1cm from the end on the top (through crack) and at the bottom elbow (through crack). I believe the flyback on this chassis is hosed. I could try replacing the ferrite, but I have no idea if there are other issues with this chassis.

Does anyone know if there is a compatible chassis from another model, or perhaps another brand I could use as a replacement? Maybe something from the Wei Ya world?

Appreciate any help in advance! Thanks!
