Regarding sound, look on your board in the upper right you see that white plastic thing with a + in it? (like a screw). You can turn that for volume. Use a plastic tool if you are worried about slipping and touching something, since its easier to adjust with the game on. Also be very careful not to touch anything related to the monitor, there's lots of high voltage in there.
To secure the board, you can use screws and blocks of wood, and / or "pcb feet".

PS: Use periods so we can see where sentences start and stop. Makes it easier to refer back to questions you asked. They don't teach this stuff in school just to be annoying. It makes people better communicators.
