Goldstar monitor resolution?
« on: September 02, 2010, 08:26:32 am »
Hi guys,

So i bought an royal video arcade compact last week and i'm turning it in to a MAME machine. Now i just got the J-Pac in today and i hooked my pc up to the J-Pac. I installed soft 15khz on the pc. But i don't know what te resolution of the monitor is. I got it sitting on 320x240 resolution and it's working but the screen is way to big to operate windows 2000.
I googled but couldn't find any info on the monitor.

Monitor: Goldstar
type: A48KMX12XX
s/n : 10400315

Any of you guys know an easy test on how to find the best resolution possible for my monitor?

A48KMX12XX is the CRT number   and it is a 19"

wanna try again for a model number ?  ;)

standard NTSC was about 525 xmitted lines with around 330 displayed via RF after processing
direct composite was around 400-450 lines....
