WG 19K7901 bad colors
« on: September 01, 2010, 01:07:36 pm »
Have a WG 19K7901.  Have played with all adjustments including flyback (over and over) but cant get the colors right.  To much blue.  Areas that are supposed to be white always stay blue tinted. Also seems a little to dark overall.

Not sure what to try next.

Also need a schematic.  Anyone know where I can get a schematic for this monitor?

Thanks qrz.

For some reason I only get a blank pdf when I try to open that link.  Other docs on that site do open normally so I'm not sure why I'm drawing a blank (page,)???

Here's the manual:

I assume you have recapped this monitor first and that the picture still doesn't look correct. If this is the case the tube needs to be rejuvenated.

Thanks Ken.

Found a couple MORE bad caps.  Replacing them now. Results may have to wait till next week.  I will post what I find.
