Well yeah, once you elimnate franchises it only boils down to the blu ray in the PS3 vs the 360. I started on Uncharted 2, which is awesome btw. I cant wait for GoW 3. I still need to beat the first 2. Thats the real reason I wanted a PS3. Is Killzone exclusive to Playstation 3?
Pictures are overrated anyway.

When dealing with true console exclusives in these days of PS3 vs 360, the list is extraordinarily thin.  Once you eliminate franchises I couldn't care less about (e.g. Gran Turismo, Halo) you're down to virtually nothing.  My PS3 library still consists of Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear 27 or whatever.

Want a super fun game along the lines of Robotron/Asteroides it's called Superstardust HD on the PSN store The game play and graphics are great.

I just got Gran Turismo 5... took a half hour to download a 600+ meg update, and then another 20 minutes to install tracks and crap to the hard drive.   :banghead:

Looks neat but I don't really take my consoles online.

Beat Uncharted 2 last night... if anyone has a PS3 exclusive they want to trade for it, LMK.  I doubt I'll ever play it again.

Did you like it? I just got mine too and I have only got to play it for about 10 mins. Got to the part where you start out in the jungle. The game is gorgeous. Its pretty fun so far too.

Haha good to know. "Far too wealthy" huh? Thats hilarious. Must be nice.  ;)

Nice. The third one is supposed to come out soon. I cant wait for next month when MvC3 comes out. I also didnt know DC Online was PS3 exclusive. Too bad it costs 15 bucks a month to play. If it didnt, I would totally get that one. The trailer looked amazing.

Speaking of DC, Batman Arkham Asylum is a really good game.  I'll second the Super Stardust recommendation.

And yeah, Killzone is PS3 exclusive.  I've never played any of the Killzone games, though.

Yeah I played Batman on my 360. I thought it was an AMAZING game, the only downfall was the ending (thought it was lackluster/too easy) and being in detective mode the whole time made you miss out on the visuals. What is Super Stardust?

The reason I ask is because they are making a big deal about its release, it being delayed etc. I heard they were good. I want to get Demon Souls after I finish Uncharted 2 and GoW 1,2 and 3  :lol I need to quit my job and break up with my GF or something to free up my damn time!

Especially for Demon's Souls.  That game will consume you.  Super Stardust is a PSN game that controls like Robotron.  It's super fast-paced and super difficult.  And fun.

Sweet, I like games that you cant put down. And when you do, youre thinking about it when youre not playing it. Reminds me of when I was a kid, and you would get a game, go to school, think about it the whole time there, then jam home so you can play. Sweet, Ill have to check that out. They also have Castlevania: SOTN on PSN so I might get that too, its only 5 bucks.

:lol I remember getting grounded for two weeks because I stopped doing my homework after I got Super Mario Bros 3.

Castlevania SOTN is easily worth the 5 bucks. Great game.

Haha thats awesome Vigo. I skipped out on a weeks worth of school when Zelda Ocarina of time came out. I have a pretty cool mom  :lol
SOTN is good for its time, but the newer DS games are better.  If, like me, you've only got the attention span to play one, go for a DS iteration.

They're all more or less the same game and have equally nonsense plots....

You can thank the Japanese for the ridiculous plots  :lol. I dont have a DS so Ill be getting the one on the PSN. I wont even have time to play it, I have so much other ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- to play its retarded.  :dizzy:

Ocarina is well worth skipping school over. I din't have the luxury of missing school for video games until college, unless you count the occasional flu that I faked.

Of all the "super metroid" style castlevania games, SOTN is good, but not the best. I would say the best would have to be Aria of Sorrow. After beating the game, there is a add on called Julius mode. It is a alternate version of the game where you have three characters to switch between. It's a lot like Castlevania III in that respect. If you don't want to put money into yet another game system and add more games to your plate, SOTN should be good enough.

I have all the DS games and I still put SOTN just above Aria of Sorrow. Order of Ecclesia  was easily the worst. If you wanna go GBA Circle of the Moon was the bees knees. I cna admit Im biased towards SOTN, I just always loved the game.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Phew, I am getting my Castlevania games confused right now, but I am still pretty sure I liked Aria of Sorrow best just because of the Julius mode. Thinking back, Circle of the moon is really awesome as well. If you got a GBA, go for it.

The Castlevania double pack for GBA is a good purchase, it came with both Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow. I think I didn't like HoD as much, but it was still a good game.

I couldn't get through Order of Ecclesia. Not that it was hard, but the game wasn't as enjoyable. The game didn't seem bad, but I was spoiled with better.

I'm thinking of getting a ps3 too, but I noticed something really weird when playing street fighter 4 with a friend... it loads really slowly compared to the xbox 360 version. Is this the case for all of the dual system games? Eitherway, I'm getting it mostly for the ps3 exclusive and bluray.

The PS3 drive is really slow, presumably to offset the cost of including Bluray vs. DVD.  I haven't played much 360, but I'd guess this is the reason for longer load times.  PS3 discs have a much higher capacity, much a much slower transfer rate.  There was hope that Sony would put a faster spinning drive in the PS3 slim model, but there was no change.
