Like the topic said, I'm trying to find the code to get into the service menu on an Emerson CR202EM8. Google hasn't done much good. Thanks!

service menus are NOT intended for "joe customer".  
data changes CAN result in an inoperative set .

that said, proceed at your own risk


the remote will need to be modified to become a "service remote"
a zip file of the service manual is avail here : http://www.electronica-duartes.com/diagrama_tvs_emerson_cr202em8.php

the info you seek begins on pg 16

  :soapbox:  RECORD ALL PARAMETERS ON PAPER BEFORE MAKING CHANGES   :soapbox:

this will provide base data in case of an "unpleasant" error   ;)

Thank you very much. I'll look through it sometime this weekend. Sounds like this TV will be more of a pain than my Apex, which has easy access to its menu and isn't too scary to use. ;D

not so much of a pain per se , just different .

at least there is some product support on funai/emerson .

apex is mostly "disposable"   :angry:

the previous warnings apply to EVERY brand   ;)
