What is this new download service?
The EmuMovies Download Service Utility completely automates the installation and use of all of our artwork packs and media in the front end of your choice. This means that instead of spending months of downloading, sorting and renaming it will now only take minutes per system (plus download time). The download service utility only downloads the content to match your roms and renames the content automatically to whatever romset you have so it just works!

Automatic renaming (requires no user input, artwork and videos will match your roms)

Tied into the EmuMovies member system (access is immediate)

This video was made using Beta version 0.2 and announces the Private Beta but it's basically the same.

Beta Testing
This service is still very much in beta. We ask that Members post their findings in feedback in the Official Beta Test thread. Since it still is in beta and I am about to open this up to 6000 members we expect stuff to go wrong. So please keep an open mind during our beta period.

We have also just released a new version of the Download Service (0.7) The demo mode has been changed to support full artwork packs but exclude video snaps.  There is a 250MB/Day limit for free members.  This will allow you to download full sets.

Here is some more detail on the latest release, maybe this will clear up exactly what is offered.

More stuff for free members in this release. The free mode has been completely revamped and I hope you guys like the changes. Now Members can use the service for all types of artwork without a file count limit. Instead of downloading only the first 20 files of each set the service will now download all complete artwork packs. In free mode there is still a 250MB per day limit and Video Content is locked out. I am also making a lot of progress on getting more and more content added, I will post more in the forums once my uploads get caught up.
