TV Display Issue
« on: August 21, 2010, 05:42:23 pm »
Hey all.. I need a little assistance.  My cabinet is about complete, but I am running into a problem outputting video.  I have a PC running XP-64 outputting from an HD4350 with S-Video to a Sony Trinitron 27" Tube TV.  It works fine hooked up to a computer monitor, but when I boot via SVideo to the TV it gets as far as the bios then first XP screens, but once it tries to load the login screen the TV goes black.  I assume it is out of range somehow, but I think the ATI software is creating multiple profiles.  When the monitor is plugged in I am running 640x480 at 60 refresh rate.... I thought that would be in range of what the TV would handle.

Anyone have any ideas?  Think its a driver issue or settings issue?  I think I need to set a "default" range when a TV is used... My only thought is to uninstall the ATI driver, use standard VGA to get into the PC, then reinstall the driver with the TV hooked up.

Thoughts?

Thanks
Anthony

So I uninstalled the driver, rebooted, and it worked for a bit... but after another reboot stopped working again.  Just an update.
