monitor problems
« on: August 20, 2010, 11:54:43 am »
Hi

I just got a mortal kombat 1 arcade and after a few minutes the picture gets a bit faded and when switched images, it shows a solid red colour instead of a dark black colour.  what can be the problem? and can it be fixed?

oh nice, partial vertical frame collapse-is that a nanao ms8 monitor?
check for broken vertical size pot and bad solder joints then there is a repair log on arcadeotaku wiki showing you how to fix this
