Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I guess a show like Friends doesnt have to be accurate, or modest, or even funny.
What did everyone see in this series anyway?

It is SO 90s - I enjoyed it when it aired but the reruns are almost unwatchable.  The cheesy clothes, the laugh track, etc.  Awful!

yeah - Seinfeld holds up way better though (it is still hilarious) - maybe it is the subject matter too.  When Friends was on from '94-'03 I was pretty much the same age as the cast (20-29) so maybe it hit home a little more then.

One big difference is that Friends was never good and Seinfeld was incredibly good.  Both are less relevant and funny today, but since Friends started near zero to begin with it's now in negative funny territory, while Seinfeld is still pretty great in spite of being dated.

But don't watch Friends.  It was awful when it aired and is more so today.

Friends was ok in small doses, like catching an episode every couple of weeks. But for me the cast was pretty ---smurfing--- annoying. Its like every single one of them was annoying in a unique way. I actually liked Matthew Perry in some of the later episodes.

Seinfeild is STILL great. My GF bought me the complete series (in the fake refridgerator) for Xmas.... <3
