BootScreen Help

A little background:
I am currently swapping out a P3, Win XP(32bit) pc to a new AMD with XP x64. The old pc has a custom windows bootscreen that I want to apply to the new pc.

The problem:
I first installed BootXP onto the x64 system, and it began to do its thing after installation. Once the program loaded proper, all I had was a blank screen with no buttons or options to toggle. I stupidly uninstalled the program and rebooted. It corrupted my master boot record, and I spent over an hour trying to restore it without having to format. In the end, all is well. I am back with a functioning x64 XP. I then installed BootSkin (which is the program I originally used on the pentium 3), it seems to work fine, however whenever I apply the custom bootscreen, and reboot to see, I only get the default Windows 64-bit. Upon searching, I tried the older version of BootSkin, with exactly the same result.

Any suggestions? I really want to get this bootscreen setup so I can pop this back into my arcade cabinet.

well you can try a sheller like instasheller that replaces the windows boot screen, just an option.

If I wanted a static image, I can do the modification myself.
Thing is, I have a BootSkin image that would work perfectly, but doesn't.

I tried another version of BootSkin on my pc last night, with the same result.
I am guessing its a combination of the mobo and bios that it doesn't like, and there seems to be little option other than trying BootXP again, or a static image like was suggested above. I may give BootXP another go, but after it nearly corrupting my boot record and nearly causing a re-format, I'm a bit timid.

Just an update, although I'm somewhat surprised that either A) No one else has had issues skinning XP x64 B) No one cares.

• I've now tried all versions of BootSkin, and they function fine, however do not actually change the boot screen at all
  
• I have tried a fresh install of BootXP, and I get errors upon loading the program, then get a blank screen once actually in the program (BootXP 2.5 Final)
• I have found another program called StyleXP online, and despite downloading the EN version, it was in German. Using GoogleTranslate I was able to stumble through it enough to apply the .bootskin (at least its convenient enough to use the same format as BootSkin). This resulted in the same situation as BootXP, by adding lines to the boot.ini its somehow corrupting the boot files and I need to restore in order to recover.
  

Has anyone successfully modded the bootscreen on XP x64, or can anyone shed some light on to why I'm having such difficulties? Please, it would be appreciated.

from what i have seen bootskin does not support 64 bit. i could be wrong though.

actually im almost positive now, bootskin does not support 64 bit xp. I think bootskin 64 bit came out with vista.

So, I've finally got an answer, and I'm posting here for everyone to see.

The solution is a program called "TuneUp Utilities". Among other things (it seems to have all of the TweakUI settings integrated), it allows you to change your boot screen. It even accepts .bootskin, although I couldn't get it to read my old files. In the end, I created a new one very easily, and it now works, with a progressive bar at the bottom.

For anyone with Windows XP x64, use TuneUp Utilities to change your bootscreen!
