I'm using FBANext on my xbox360 and have limited disk space so wont to delete various roms from 0.139 complete set that i have.

Ive managed to delete all clones using Rom Center, but im struggling with CHD, japanese etc.

Ive tried everything out there any ideas.

Try RomLister! You should definitely be able to filter out CHDs with that. Japanese games are a bit tougher - you may need to go through by hand and just delete anything that's obviously Japanese. Anything that's not obvious may be something you want anyway.

You can also easily get rid of not working games as well which will help free up space. Also easy to filter out are mahjong, quiz, mature, and casino games (unless you like playing those of course, but most people trying to cut down their romset dump them) as well as games that require controls you don't have. No point having lightgun games for example, if you don't have a lightgun.

Hope I helped!

thanks for the plug nitz!

here's a lil tutorial for making batch files to actually delete the roms from your collection.

http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/RL_tutorial_batchFiles

Before doing any rom moving and/or deleting you might want to use cmpro to split your files apart (ie, take each game and move all the roms required for any game to run into a single zip file) then you can move/delete individual games without impacting parents or other games that use the same files.

Then, when you've got the collection down to just the games you want, use cmpro again and combine the zips back into their basic components+parents+bios files to save the most space.  There are cmpro tutorials online to help with this stuff-it's not exactly a user friendly app for most people.
