DC Universe Online = Crossplatform Play on PC and PS3
« on: July 31, 2010, 08:05:26 pm »
The upcoming DC Universe Online offers a MMO Experience that has cross platform play on PC AND PS3.  Another plus is NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE (I dont know if this is true or not, but I can't find the charge listed and several sites say no fee.)

Which likely means it won't play to the strengths of either system and will be another mediocre MMO.

Microsoft experimented with this on the 360 and abandoned it. Mouse/keyboard players beat down controller players so badly that even mediocre PC players were smoking expert console guys.

Unless this game uses some style of combat that is going to eliminate aiming, its going to be totally unbalanced.

Hell, I want to play that game based on the intro/trailer. Superman was awesome, and they used Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman. And the fact that Lex injected wonder woman with kryptonite so he could kill Supes.

And Im a Marvel guy soooo if it looks appealing to ME, I might have to check it out!  ;D
Pictures are overrated anyway.
