SF PC build - untitled
« on: August 10, 2010, 12:13:23 am »
Hi all,

Thought I would start a proper thread for this.  I know, it really belongs in a modding forum somewhere, but honestly, this is quite probably the best community I've been engaged in anywhere on the 'net.  It's the one place where I really value everyone's opinion, and there are LOTS of talented people here with some great ideas that I feel would be helpful.

I'm building a "shuttle" style PC case, and going with a sort of 50s/60s sci-fi theme.  I'm posting progress on my blog (linked in my sig), and I wanted to get a post up here to try and draw some attention to it.  I've spent a lot of time working on a Blender model (learning Blender as I go!), and I really want to do this right.

I'd love any suggestions (yep, already asked Ond, as you'll see on the blog page...thanks again, Ond!), pertaining to either design or execution.  I've done one complete case mod before (mainly just to get my feet wet; turned out pretty well for a first build), but this is my first attempt at basically building from the ground up.

Thanks for looking!
