Rold Gold Checkers are great...
« on: August 05, 2003, 11:09:08 pm »
... to snack on while checking out the posts on this board...

There's my 2 cents for the day.

By the way, anybody else fall behind on updating their cab? I finally got around to updating my cocktail cab to .71. I noticed that I hadn't updated since .64  or something! ???

I found that a lot of the stuff that I compiled in had been added. (the nodiclaimer, autorotate, etc.)

Maybe I'll actually have time to play some new games! ;D

Tacos and beer but they mess my cab up something terrible ( especially after too much of the latter ).

Yeah, kettle chips are mint. Up here I get the Cape Cod Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips. They're awesome, but they go straigh to ---my bottom---.... ;D

This may be blasphemy, but I'll take baked lays any day of the week over kettle chips.

Baked Lays don't appear on this list:

http://cspinet.org/olestra/brands.htm

I hope they don't contain Olestra, but I don't think they do cos they say they've got 1.5g fat per serving and I think Olestra products usually have zero.  But they're super tasty.  I can't get enough of them (though I would probably stop eating them altogether if they turn out to contain Olestra -- I'd rather go without Baked Lays then get cancer)

Maybe its just me, but I thought any food that has then phrase "may cause anal leakage" printed on the packaging just isn't a wise investment.

Heh...I typed the word "anal"...

Y'all are doing it wrong.  Sort of.

What you need, is a big ass double patty bacon cheese burger, a pile of BBQ chips, and a few bottles of Sleeman's Honey Brown Lager.

Having said that, I think you'd have to be Canadian to appreciate real beer :)

The best burger on the planet can be found at....my apartment, cooked on my grill.  I got a recipe from a Food & Wine mag.  There is no comparison.

Oh yes - Peter's Drive-in in Calgary will crush any burger :)  Other than mine - Montreal steal spice is the not-so-secret ingredient.

it's only cuz you poor sods don't have In-N-Out where you live! They are the bomb! I love to get my burgers "Animal Style."

Beware of the 4x4, 4 patties is just a bit much for my taste. Not to mention it's impossible to fit in your mouth to take a bit out of it!  :-X

In-N-Out...That's what a hamburger's all about!

The natives down here in south Texas devized a funky concoction: flaming hot cheetos with nacho cheese sauce. It's really not bad, but you gotta eat it fast cuz it gets soggy real quick.

Also, just across the river in Mexico at the theaters they offer salsa on the popcorn. Talk about a mess!

P.S. I've never even heard of Kettle Chips...

If you wanna talk burgers...

Fast Food: double meat double cheese Whataburger (actually their A1 Thick and Hearty Burger is better, but they don't always have it)
Gourmet: Fuddrucker's 1/2 burger with bacon, cheddar, and jalapenos

Though the Tequila, Lime, and Jalapeno chips where a bit too much for me. Avoid at all costs if you have a hangover!
