ArcadeVGA or ...
« on: August 05, 2010, 01:30:06 am »
Forgive me if this is a real noob question. I'm putting together my PC set-up that i'll be running MAME, DC, NAOMI, SNES, NES, GENESIS, and some PC games(SF4?) with MA as the front end. I'll be using an Eygo 27" monitor. Now, will the newest ArcadeVGA be optimal for all of these systems or should I just run a normal VGA card? Ultimarc says it's guaranteed to run SF4 on all high settings so I assume it will. But i've been reading mixed reviews on this monitor saying it's not a "real" arcade monitor. would I also need a video amp if I got the ArcadeVGA? I hate being a complete noob  Thanks for any help!
