Custom Female Killer Klown From Outer space prop head
« on: August 01, 2010, 05:54:12 pm »
Hi guys. Here is a cool project I just finished. It started out as a "tiny" blank from Brian at alter ego dezines. Rather than do it as tiny I decided it would be fun to make it into a female killer klown since no one has done one that i know of.

There were two of them in the movie but i didn't think they looked very cool so i decided to come up with my own paint and hair design. The pics are a bit washed out because they were taken with a cheap camera. What do ya think of her.

I like the paint job, but I was expecting an original sculpt when I saw the title.

Thanks,  It's supposed to be tiny from the movie but while i did like it alot I didn't think it was the best likeness out there so did it as a female klown.

This is what it looks like as tiny ( I didn't paint this one)

I like this version of tiny the best.

I did sculpt and cast my own klown tribute piece a while back.

I still need to cast a copy for myself. I sold the ones I made on ebay.

That's awesome news. I love scary clown imagery. I've been following your other posts you've had showing of your work in the past. I'm a huge fan of guys like Savini, Nicotero, Berger, etc, so your threads have caught my eye.

The pics or the link didnt load for me.  :'( Are the chiodo brothers doing KKFOS sequel? Man. That movie scared the crap outta me back in the day when I was a kid. The bathroom scene where the little ones are coming out of the hamper. Screw dat noise. Too bad I cant see the work...
Pictures are overrated anyway.

Most people cite KKFOS or Stephen King's It as the source of their fear of clowns. I've never been scared of clowns, but let me tell ya, the clown DOLL in Poltergeist.....holy crap did that ever scare me!

Lol our neighbor made that doll from poltergeist. She lives out here in san diego. My sister and I used to watch her make em. Scary stuff...
Pictures are overrated anyway.

Ginsu, I'm a huge fan of savini, nicotero and all the great fx guys to. Have you seen this video of greg/ knb fx doing the bicycle girl zombie makeup from amc's new "the walking dead" series?

Great stuff. I'm really looking forward to this show.

Mikezilla try this link for pics.  http://forums.nightowlpro.com/index.php?/topic/39693-custom-female-killer-klown-from-outer-space-finished/

The chiodo bros are doing the sequel. I have one of those bathroom klowns sitting on my dresser.

Incase you cant see the pic heres a you tube vid with him in it.

That's cool that your neighbor made the poltergeist clown dolls. The only clown that ever scared me was the one from Stephen kings "it" That one gave me a few nightmares as a kid.
