Lost Viking arcade game in Starcraft 2 Cantina!

Ive been playing SC2 quite a bit today and discovered a playable shmup in the cantina area called lost viking.

Its not a bad little game, but what I really liked was the cab design

What do you think?

Huh. That's a pretty cool arcade cabinet. I like the industrial design.

For a moment, I thought the picture was a screen cap. And I couldn't figure out what the left part of the image was meant to be. What were those two cables things plugging into? What an odd perspective for the game to use. Then I realized it was a photo of your monitor, not a screen cap.

Blizzard did the Lost Vikings? I did not know that. That was a pretty fun game. I've still got my original SNES cartridge.

They might have still been called "Chaos Studios" back then. They changed names right around the time they were developing SNES & Genesis games and the first Warcraft.

They were called "Silicon & Synapse" when they made The Lost Vikings.

YES! That's right. Then they changed to Chaos Studios, got their business cards all printed up (I have one) and a few months later some other company made them change names again.

Haha yeah I saw that, I thought it was awesome. They put the Lost Vikings in world of warcraft too, thought it was funny. I love Starcraft 2 though, its keeping me from working on my cab!

Im on the last mission (I think), Old Queenie is a bit of a b*tch!

Aww man really?!? I just finished all the Zeratul missions yesterday. Spent the whole day playing, I threw my back out lol. I dont want the game to end. It sucks considering its going to take years for the whole story to pan out. The protoss death mission was awesome. Even slowed my comp down for a second lol

That's a pretty intense game if you can throw out your back playing Starcraft 2.

Haha no joke. I got so excited I spasmed out and fell on the ground.  I threw my back out so I got to stay home from work so I could play all day. My eyes were sore before I went to bed. My girlfriend hated it haha!!
