JPAC
« on: July 29, 2010, 08:30:18 am »
Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this. I recently put  PC into a candy cab I have. However, when I boot it, the split signal from the JPAC shows up, then the screen turns to scrambled blue. I dont have the PC booting directly into MAME, does anyone think thats the problem?  ???

Or could it possibly be my VGA card. The motherboard is from an HP built in 2004. Its got a 2.6ghz processor and 512mb RAM.

Im stumped here.  :-[  If I cant get it to work, I may use it for a bartop project.

The cab im using is a Crowin Case, its a Korean Candy Cab. the monitor is made by Samsung and I believe its a 15KHZ monitor, or thats what I was told. I thought maybe it s got to do with the fact im not booting directly to mame. But im not sure.

Heres my exact cab:

Thanx for you guys help though.   ;D

soft 15 is discussed here, in the software subforum. it allows a wide range of cards to do what the arcade VGA does, and thats output at 15hz
