Extended warranties
« on: August 03, 2010, 05:00:10 pm »
My mind is reeling ... I bought two piezo buzzers from [formerly known as] Radio Shack. We're talking about $4 parts here. Guy offers me an extended warranty on them for 45 cents.   :dizzy:
NO MORE!!

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Yeah, but that TruCoat --

Like anyone is actually going to cash that warranty? you'd just stump up another 4 bucks in the event of a failure, rather than pay the 45 cents surely?

A water alarm.

Almost not worth the effort.  I have an earlier version with two bare prongs for a sensor and it has saved my basement on several occasions.
