Monitor power question
« on: July 18, 2010, 03:57:57 pm »
Hey guys, I just purchased my first arcade cabinet last week and am trying to get it up and running. It hasn't been used in years, and probably doesn't work, but I'm trying to get all the power connections made so I can test it out. It's an Atari Tetris machine, and from the looks of the inside, the monitor is not connected to the the isolation transformer. The trouble I'm having is, I'm not sure exactly which of the two power boxes is the isolation transformer, and secondly, I can't find the connector that I am supposed to connect to the cable coming off the monitor. I found two wires (one black, one white), that look like they could connect to the connector, however I'm not sure if a)it's the right wires b)which wire to connect to which contact on the monitor. Here are some pictures of the monitor power connector, and those two wires I mentioned, along with the transformer and power supply. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as you may have guessed, I'm completely new to this.

The transformer is on the left.  Box on right is the power supply.
