Mini MVS - taking orders
« on: July 16, 2010, 08:32:43 pm »
Hey all,

I'm now taking orders for my mini-MVS, now dubbed the Mineo!

http://www.mineoarcade.com/

It takes about 3-4 weeks to build them, and I'll provide details to all interested via PM or email.  I can load the emulators ahead of time, and I have most of the biggies worked out with the control panel and LED's.  I won't be providing any distro of MAME or other emulators, but help abounds!

Cheers!

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

You might try elsewhere. You won't sell one of those here.

I guarantee that the CLEVLAND CAVILIERS will win a championship before you sell one of those cabinets on here. And you can take that to the bank!

Nice looking cab but probably the wrong venue for it.   However there are probably alot of lookers who cruse thru and you might get their attention.

Yeah, definitely the wrong place to post this. Its "build your own arcade" not "buy your own arcade".

Nice looking cab ... you may not sell to the regulars here, but you may snag some of the lurkers or those who end up here via searches. Good luck.

EDIT: BobA beat me to it, so I guess I should have said +1

Yeah, this place EASILY turns up in Google searches, so I'm sure more people will see this than just us.

Funny, I was just talking about old arcade games on another (unrelated) forum.  The question came up from someone that wanted to just buy a MAME cab.  Only advice I could think of was to scan the build your own forums buy / sell section.  I'll have to send that poster a link.

any way you could just sell me a kit for cheaper?  Just the painted wood cut outs/bezel glass/cp glass?  I'd put it together/add the hardware.  Also if you'd leave the CP whole so I could place buttons/sticks where I'd prefer them?  I'd buy it if that was the case.
