Problem with joust...
« on: July 09, 2010, 01:09:11 pm »
Problem with joust...I recently purchased a joust & having the same problem with it, my defender was having, I have replaced the batteries, but the settings will not save.  Everytime I boot up the joust goes straight to the service menu.  Any help would be appreciated.

Is it using the original battery housing?

Corrosion (extremely likely), poor contact with the battery, broken solder joints...take your pick.

I'd remove it altogether and replace it with a 2032 lithium battery mod.
