No, I'm afraid that won't be suitable for t-moulding. Its a bit for cutting slots for biscuits and so will cut a slot ~3.75mm wide.

Looking at the listing, all of the t-moulding they supply requires a 1.5mm (1/16") slot apart from the black/chrome stripe which requires a 2mm (5/64")slot.

Im trying to find a cheap option in the UK.

These are the ONLY ones I have found, and they are out of stock!

UPDATED

hi jimmy, you need to visit axminster.co.uk.

they have the slot cutter you need. its where i buy most , if not all of my hardware.

here is the slot you need :
http://www.axminster.co.uk/cmt-cmt-three-wing-slot-cutters-prod20957/
you need the 1.5mm as its the closest match , order no is 822315

here is the arbour : ( the slot cutter connects to this )
http://www.axminster.co.uk/cmt-cmt-slot-cutter-arbors-prod20960/
depending on what router you have , you must choose if its a 1/4" or 1/2" shank ( what fits your router ).

you will also need a bearing :
http://www.axminster.co.uk/cmt-cmt-router-cutter-bearings-prod20906/  order no is 341191
the bearing your looking for is the 28mm one , use the order code to select the correct one.

buying all 3 is expensive , i understand that , but thats what happens when you need to use professional tools.
regardless, these 3 items will cut the slot you wish .

Hi Chaps,

Quick question about those axminster recommendations...

The bearing linked to has an internal diameter of 12mm. To my amateur eye, this seems too wide to sit on a 1/4" shank. Have I missed something about how these things fit together? Or does a 1/4" shank need a bearing with a smaller internal diameter?

Cheers

Dave

the bearing which i listed is for the half inch arbour , as thats the hardware which i used.
but just to be on the safe side , and not to give any false hope or information , contact axminster directly and
ask them do the bearings fit both the half inch and the quarter inch.
i would say they do , but ask them just to be sure.
