Redoing the title strip holders on a Rowe AMI R-91

Greetings all. First post of many to come here.

Recently I was able to get myself a Rowe AMI R-91 Jukebox from someone on Craigslist for $100... they thought it didn't work but once I removed the 20 years of grime and broken dreams off of it, it was almost as good as new. I've been fine tuning everything and adding my own music and now it's running like a champ. But now I am on to the cosmetic stage of things with it and am working on the title strips and title strip holders. Now as some of you may know, this jukebox had the option for CDS and in order to save space on the title strip holder they took off all track numbers ending in 8 and 9. I am not interested in using the CDs and want to have all the spaces available. I am not sure of any good method to redo the numbers that isn't completely hokey. If anyone has any tips or suggestions for this I would really appreciate it.

The link to see your efforts does not seem to work.

Have you checked out www.victoryglass.com to see if they have a complete set of numbersets for your jukebox. Also try www.happ.com or see if any Rowe Ami distributors have any.

In Europe try www.jukebox-world.de (the Stanmann site)

If all else fails then its down to using Letroset (or similar)

Ok, the verdict is in. Initially I did not realize you could remove the original numbers that were in there. I thought they were painted on because they sat flush with the plastic. In doing a (failed) experiment with some types of tape I accidentally almost pulled a column of numbers off. But once I realized they could come off I knew what I had to do.

I first removed all the current number sets. Then I measured it all out and made replica versions of the number sets in photoshop but included all of the 8s and 9s so I could make use of all the open slots in the jukebox. I printed them onto a vinyl sticker type of material and applied them to the title holder area tonight and I'd say it looks pretty good for a grand total cost of $10 and a few hours of work.

When looking at a pic, you can hardly tell they're not the original ones.

Now the only thing I need is 2 sets of the black slats or title separators, I'm not sure what they're called but you can see on the right side of that image, the ones in the middle of my jukebox don't extend all the way to the bottom in the middle four rows. Have any idea on how I could get my hands on 2 pairs of those? Thanks again
