im working on this unit and c419 is open and it has a 822j/1.6kv in it but the manual shows 123j/1.6kv so witch one should i use help

i put new cap in and still shorts the HOT and opens up c219 dose anyone know what more i can check

Use what was in it. Neotec manuals are riddled with errors.
The cap is probably a "Metalized Polypropylene" type made for horizontal output stages. Ordinary caps will fail immediately.
822 = .0082 uf @ 1600 volts

Replace them with what was originaly there. Ignore what the schematic says.
BTW those dipped caps should read open if your doing a contenuity test on them.

update: got new flyback from neo-tec today rechecked c419,c421,c423,d403,replaced the HOT fired her up and.....got.......the famous ticking,bird cherp and blow the HOT

Neotec's service department can repair the chassis if you send it to them. You can also send it to Chad at Arcadecup.com
