A good percentage of Freecyclers are mental basket cases. I got a request today from someone wanting a GPS because theirs was stolen.

I figure get about five to ten stupid requests each day. Usually from the same morons who keep requesting things ike that GPS.

I think the 'want' posts, while annoying, are still valid.  Case in point.  My old GPS was getting touchy and wouldn't hold a charge anymore.  I got a new one.

I'd have gladly freecycled the old one if I hadn't given it away already.

Its just a matter of finding the right person at the right time.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

Freecycle makes the weirdos from the hellhole known as Craigslist look like members of a posh country club.  ;D

I wouldn't see them, either.  I do porch pickup only. :)
