Powers up, no pic...
« on: June 24, 2010, 11:22:40 pm »
I've got a 25" WG-K7000.  When I apply power to it, I can hear it power up, that staticy pop/crackle.  Also, for a second I can feel the static form on the front of the screen and I can see a white flash around the edges, but then something happens and it seems to power back down.  The static goes away on the front and I get nothing at all.

I'm not seeing any glow at any point from the neck.

I'm stumped.

help?

schematic here :

c57 is likely faulty  ( 47uF @160v ) i use 47uF/250v 105 degree

there may well be more that are in need of replacement .
although i am not a fan of the "cap kit"  shotgun approach, it may be a viable option for the home user...
