New item for arcade cabinet industry
« on: June 24, 2010, 10:48:43 am »
The one thing I have noticed that is missing from the arcade part vendors are milk crates.  Think about it... How many times did you have to stand on a milk crate as a child to see the screen while you were playing a game at a pizza parlor or convenience store?  As a father of a 3 & 5yr old, I feel like they need the crate for the effect...

Run with it.

I still have a couple in the attic from college.  Haven't thought about using them in years.

Too bad they went out of their way to start making crates too small to hold LPs. Have one from three different dairy farms, all slightly too small...

Shave the last track worth of disc off your LP and make a smaller dust jacket. Problem solved!

Until I find time to build an actual shelf in my cabinet I’ve stacked two of them up to support my monitor.

Who am I kidding?
They're the right size, so unless they start to give under the weight of the monitor, I'm never going to replace them.

They reached ultimate in suck when they started leaving one or two of the sides off.

That would be the first track! But I still think you're onto (or on) something.  :P

Yes heaven forbid the dairy industry not cater to collectors of the second-most worthless audio format since the 8-track.  Kidding aside... it's 2010... go digital or go home!

digital and analog sounds completely different.

while its clear and nice and all that to listen to CD...
listening to vinyl has a completely different feel...

analog vinyl is not going away anytime soon...
