I have a p4 at 3.2gig prescott pc and a amd athlon 64 4000+ overclocked at 2.7gig

both are maxed at 2gig.

I had one of my parents friends drop off a few pc's and monitors and were told there older.

I opened one just to see what was in this monster case and it turned out to be a dell 530 work station.

it was from 2002 and when I check on its original listing from dell it was a $6,558.00 machine.

I never even knew there was pc's that costed that much back then let alone dell anything :dunno

anyhow it has a huge motherboard with a xeon cpu in it but the cool thing is it has another socket for a 2nd xeon CPU.

I had checked the specs of the board and it can do 2 xeon's at 3.0gig max and it has 4 ram slot with a 2 gig max.

my main question I guess is this going to be nay faster or better then the P4 or athlon 4000+ barton pc?

I may part one o fthe others or sell them as a whole ot build this dual xeon but if it is no better worse or only a a stronger then I may just part it or sell them.

I also got another p4 machine from dell from him but there is no hdd or cd drive's and pretty sure it's not better then my P4 setup that I already have.

I am also wondering if the motherboard could do dual core and run two seperate dual core cpu's as I am sure that would kill my p4 and amd 64 lol.
