Marquees....
« on: June 07, 2010, 08:58:11 am »
Hi All,

I am artistically crap and trying to sort out a Marquee for my first ever cab! I love the Control Panel Database post but wondered if everyone wanted to share pictures of their custom marquees in order to share for inspiration!

I've seen a couple I like and may end up using someone elses as I am awful with Illustrator/Photoshop and other graphics programs, however thought I'd have a nose and see if anyone wanted to share their artwork or pics of their marquee...?

I swing more towards one with a lot of well known arcade characters in it, with just a simple word such as "Arcade" in the middle...

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

See, I told Emdkay it wasn't working! :lol

I told him, "I don't see the referral link in my sig anymore. What happened?" and he said, "It's there, you just can't see it"

:lol

What the... ?   I have a feeling it's due to browser ad blocking.  I have to do some testing  :-\

Yup. If you run ABP on FF then it's MIA.

Your right Brent. I have ABP but it wasn't turned on. I just turned it on and it blocked it.

Most welcome Ginsu :)

Dammit, what the hell?!?

thanks Ginsu some good example on there and I'm sure you must sell a few. I'm looking for something slightly different, and was just curious to have a nose at what others went with in the end! If it comes down to it I'll ask a friend of mine to knock something up as he's a graphic designer with his own printing business too...
