Help with side art question
« on: June 06, 2010, 07:59:46 am »
Hi Everyone

It's been quite awhile since I have posted here.  I finished my cab quite awhile ago, but all I did was paint it.  Now I am thinking of going the artwork route.  I have found some Simpsons artwork that someone offered up for free that I really like and I want to use it.  So my question is for the sideart how do I figure out or change it so it will fit the side of my cabinet?  I am really not sure how to begin.

Thanks everyone!

Jason

I guess that you have the side art...before you peel anything...just place it upon the side of your cab and see whats looks best....its your cab, determine what looks best to you....

I don't have the side art yet.  I just have the illustrator files with the side art.  So I am trying to figure out how to put it into illustrator so it will be an exact fit.

Hi Jason

If you post a sketch of your cabinet side (with dimensions , preferably metric) i wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

The artwork your using wouldn't happen to the one i made?

Hi Razzer

It is actually your art!  If you could PM me your e-mail I can try to do that!  Thanks so much!
