How do I downgrade mame roms?

Hello
I have full set of mame .137 and downgrade roms .137. How do I down grade to other versions? Can someone please explain what I need and how to do it? I would appreciate it very much.

You need to use CLRMAMEPRO to downgrade your set. You need to pick a "new" (or old) version to go down to. You need the dat file from that version. CLRMAMEPRO is has a steep learning curve but there are some tutorials that you can watch that really help out.
Depending on where you got your roms, you may find that the website has a FAQ section. If so, you may find a tutorial there on using CLRMAMEPRO.

Ok I have all the files and searched google, other emulation sites, youtube and this and I can not find any tutorial on how to do this? I am so frustrated please anyone help...

Here's a tutorial that shows screen shots. I haven't watched it all but it's supposed to cover it in depth.

Or go to another site and look through the FAQs and there is one with screen shots and text showing what to do. This link is a video/flash tutorial. You'll watch it a few times or read the FAQ a few times to understand what to do.
