Need help adjusting xm-2950 .
« on: May 30, 2010, 12:00:06 pm »
I just got an xm-2950 and I want to know how to adjust it better but i can't find enough info on it . It has 2 sets of dip switches (8  on/off switches each set). It has 5 adjustable nobs in the back(clamp ctl, sub-b level,r,g, and b). The remote allows me to control : screen position ; screen width , height , side pin-->   "()"   ")("    ; contrast & brightness.  Color, tint, & sharpness on the remote are only for single cable bnc or s-video.  I am using rgb vga (I can hook it up 5 bnc-hv if I want). I have the xm-2950/2950g manual but it refers to the pg-2740 manual for any adjustment and I don't have it. Any info will help because I'm a very new at this . The only thing I've figured out is that dip #1sw - 8 off- stops the "scan select" button from working
-7  on- will turn off the rgb 1 and put it in standby

dip #2sw -1 rolls the screen once then goes very dark and is garbled
                    - 2 makes the screen roll vertically
