Please help with Act Labs light gun off-screen reload
« on: May 28, 2010, 08:47:23 am »
I just purchased the blue light gun from Act Labs and have it working perfectly as far as calibration goes.  The only thing I can't get working is the  off-screen reload.  For example, while playing Area 51 when I run out of bullets I try to shoot off screen and no luck.  I also tried hitting the button that sits behind the gun (which I believe is button 2) but that doesn't work.  I've tried different versions of mame and have made sure that my mame.ini file is correct.  I'm thinking it has something to do with the game configuration itself.

Does anyone who owns this gun have the off-screen reload working?

By the way, this is a real nice gun and was really easy to get working with my setup.

I use MAMEPlus.
All you have to do is check a box and it does it for you.

I can either press the 2nd button or shoot offscreen.  Either works.
