1 or 2 thanks. I am using a gutted original DK machine with DK Jr. bezel and Marquee. I am getting mixed reviews at work here and I like them both. I guess I could put one on each side but that might look dumb.

Please stop the madness. I just can't decide. I'm leaning towards the action scene one with the DK focus.

Your opinion is appreciated.

I like the action scene

One word of advice. Maybe shrink some of the other characters, make them less the focus of the compositon so that the dk artwork stands out more.

I like the first one better. The DK in the center is more consistent with the rest of the characters.

Agreed. The one on the left is alot nicer IMO. I think that one one hand shrinking some of the characters might help bring out the focus on the DK, but then again it might leave too much unwanted black space. Moving characters around may help to find a happy medium. I like it, though.

Thanks guys. Alan, thanks for your crit as I am happier with this product. I can still do some stuff with lights and darks to make it jump out more, but I agree I don't want to leave too much black space. I think the other one would be better if I was to actually vector art each image and color in a cel shaded style then it would be more consistent. SO overall I like the one on the lefts composition and theme more.

Would there be any way I could talk you in to sharing that image so I could use it on my cab? I understand you put a lot of work into it and probably want to keep it so you can have the original. I just thought I would ask anyway. Either way, AWESOME work!!

Cooper, I'd be glad to give you a copy. Do you have Photoshop? You would probably want that file and then blow it up to printing size in it or I can just give you a huge jpeg. I don't mind sharing at all, flattered you'd like it. SO many havehelped me with my set up namely BirdTales. It's all about the love of the games!

I can post it here if they want for download, just not sure how to go about arranging that. I can put the one with layers up so you can add and move stuff around if you'd like.

Cool, I should be able to drop it on my Comcat account. Let me tweak a few minor things that only I probably notice and I'll put up the PSD and the JPEG. Most printers want the PSD so that is probably best.

Did this ever get put online by anyone? If not, I'd be glad to host it because I'd certainly like to have the file for my own purposes as well. It's one of the best sideart's I've seen, the one on the left.

Well, I've been in contact with him and gave him a place to ftp to. He's more than happy to share. I gave him a bad username on his first attempt to ftp, but sent him the corrected one. HAven't heard since that, but I believe we'll all have this soon enough. I've got 150-200 gigs of bandwidth I can dedicate to it on a rackshack server if I get the files. If I get them before anyone else, I'll certainly post a link here to the files.

I'll may create another thread for this as well, but I wanted to put up the links in this thread first. Thanks to tagnetti for his great sideart and uploading it to my server! He uploaded both the jpg and the psd. I've got 150 gigs of bandwith to give these two files, but they are 100 megs total. Have fun!

QUICK UPDATE - The PSD seems to be only one layer, so you may want to either just download the jpg for now or wait till I see if there is a layered version.

LATEST UPDATE - The PSD link below is now to a smaller file, but with layers, you'll just need to resize it to the side you need.

I'm flattered you guys like the art. I am glad to share as so many have helped me. I posted up the 8x10 psd file. It just needs to be increased in size after you update it however you want. The PSD at this size is only like 8 megs. Everything is on an alpha channel including a few images I didn't use. Hope you guys like it as I know I am pleased. Especially since I actually got Dragons Lair working.

I went ahead and took out the old psd zip and renamed the custom2.zip to the psd beofre seeing this post. So you can simply use the links in my original post.

Eightbit - I love the way that it looks on your cabinet. However, what I was really looking for is a link to a high-resolution printable version that I could take to my local shop to get printed. I can also receive very large emails if someone could send it to me.
