New Galaga cabinet build
« on: May 23, 2010, 09:09:24 pm »
I have been lurking here for a couple months and just joined a week or two ago.  My cab is going to be a Galaga cab.  Pretty much I am using the information on http://www.retro.co.za/arcade/index.html and many pictures I have found on the internet and this site.  I am into the old classics - Pacman, Galaga, Zaxxon and etc.  The cabinet will be a Jamma 60 in 1 board, working coin door, original galaga cp with extra button, some sort of monitor and repo artwork.  Well here is what I got done this weekend.

Basically the shape of the one side took me a day to get laid out and then refined.  Then it was a simple matter to duplicate it with a jigsaw and router.  Also installed were some batons.   Tomorrow I will be working on the bottom, front and rear panels.
