Shallow Joysticks
« on: May 23, 2010, 04:58:21 am »
I'm looking for red ball top 4/8 way joysticks, preferably leafs, that are NOT very deep in the base.
(limited space under control panel)
They're for a cocktail cabinet project I'm starting on.
I need to do some measuring before I actually know what might fit, just looking for ballpark direction to look in.
Any suggestions?

Anyone ever try any joysticks from here - http://www.happmart.com/Products.aspx?sid=46

Good to know.

I've got a lead on what size and type of joystick I'm looking for, seems Happmart has lots of drawings and dimensions for theirs so I can compare to those.

Search for Sanwa joysticks. They are very shallow for mounting in candy cab panels.

I was browsing the Sanwa's , but was avoiding the $25-35 per stick expense.
(twice what a pair of the others would be)

Still an option though for sure.
