I recently started a small project to hook my 360 up to my blast city cab. In my initial tests, video was working fine via vga @ 640x480. Recently though i started getting that problem a few other people have seen where the video signal only shows for a few seconds and then cuts out.

From what I've been able to find the issue is an incompatibility with a certain subset of manual sync blast city monitors (nanao ms-2930) and the 360. One option outside of a complete chassis/monitor swap that was brought to my attention was using a scan converter. Does anyone here know more about this issue and the details of using a scan converter as a solution (i.e. what type/brands work etc)- and the technical side of how this actually solves whatever problem these monitors have w/ the 360 signal. I'm looking for something that keeps the picture looking smooth, and doesn't need to use the jamma harness for anything since I'm using that for the 360 controls.
