Newb question about programming and IPAC
« on: July 30, 2003, 09:01:27 pm »
I just recieved my Slik Stik Classic yesterday. pretty much everything works out of the box but I wanted to re-work the Shift buttons.  However when I fire up WINIPAC several of the buttons do not appear in there. I basically want to move the shift button from Player 1 start over to the dedicated pause button.  There are some other buttons that also do not appear within WINIPAC (but they are all assigned correctly and work so it dosent really matter). I tried to fire up the Interactive IPAC programmer with a text editor but I do not see a way to change which button is Shift(however all of the buttons do appear in there under the List, so that is a good thing) and on the IPAC Faq on ultimarc's site it says that it is possible to change the shift button from there but that it is difficult and they reccomend that you use WINIPAC(which I tried to do) but they do not actually tell you how to do it.   Sorry I am kind of a newb so I am sure I am just overlooking something simple. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
