ArcadeOS menu distortion
« on: April 27, 2010, 09:41:55 pm »
I have ArcadeOS 2.52 installed on a computer, and have it running on an arcade monitor (electrohome g07-904). Once I hear the beeping (letting me know it's ok to plug in the monitor), I plug in, and the menu is heavily distorted. I can see that hitting buttons changes things. It's almost torn in a diagonal fashion. Now heres the weird thing, when I select a game, the game itself renders perfectly.

Anyone seen this before?

There is a display setting the arcadeos.ini (?) that controls the output display for the menu. It has two options 320x400 and 640x480. If your monitor doesn't like 640x480 it can appear scrambled but when you execute a game, MAME's display settings take over so the game appears fine.

Perhaps something has caused these to be reset / changed?
