XPORT and SMB
« on: April 09, 2010, 09:19:20 am »
I recall someone talking about using Xport XBOX emulators with SMB a while back but can't find the thread.  I don't believe there were "instructions" on how to accomplish this anyway so here's a new thread where I'm asking for help with this.

Help!  ;D
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I tried this but I have problems getting the xbox to talk to the NAS with Xport Emus.

What emus are you wanting to pull roms off your network?

I ask this because there is a working solution to some of the emulated platforms on the Xbox.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

As many emulators as possible provided I'm satisfied with the results...

Well you could look at CoinOPS R6.

I find myself playing NES more than anything so I would like to start there.

Actually CoinOPS R8 is out - the reason why I choose that software - is that BP has included most of the emu cores into CoinOPS and the SMB works well, and it has a nice front end.  Only wish we had the DaphneX source to include too.....
