well, I bought it. I am a little disappointed in it.
I think it is worth the $$$ but there is issues with it.

1st there was nothing mentioned about downloading  USBeXtreme_setup.exe at the mod store I ordered the disk from
http://www.modchip.ca/store/home.php?cat=269
copy and past from web site

USB Extreme

USBeXtreme allows you to convert your PS2 games to USB HDD and run directly from the USB HDD connected to your console. It is compatible with ALL version of PS2 (included PSX & PSTWO).
PSX!!!! It will not! not That I can figure out!

2ND the piece of crap docs that did come with it said to go to
http://www.usbextreme.com/download
nothing is there!
found it here
http://www.hdadvance.com/download/
took a long time and many wasted links to find it

I tried 1 game . Cool it works!
start up intro of game a bit choppy but game played OK

well then I dive in feet first.
the compatibility list from
http://www.hdadvance.com/hd_advance_compatibility.asp
Stinks!
here is a much better link
http://list.sksapps.com/index.php?page=indexc.html

I find out the hard way 1/2 my games do not work.
I have not figured out how to delete games off hard drive
there not stored as ISO's

not really a bad product . Just not documented worth a darn.

for my games that are not supperted I think I need
http://www.modchip.ca/store/product.php?productid=16399&cat=269&page=1

guitar hero ( many versions)
cabala's big game hunter
will swap magic 3.8 and coder work for me?

as for my PSX back ups I think I also need "Breaker Pro"

I know they can be loaded on and from usb hdd's and thumbdrive flash sticks and what not but from what I have seen and read all games are going to be slow and choppy pretty much with the same results no matter what you use usb.

as for psx with that its not happenin off usb either.

The USB controller on the PS2 is the same chip that is the main CPU when it runs PS1 games.  The chip can't operate in both roles at the same time.  This is why USB loaders and HDD loaders will never boot PS1 games on PS2.  Never, EVER gonna happen.
