My MAMEWAH Layout(s)
« on: July 29, 2003, 01:47:23 am »
Well, I finally (almost) finished my layouts for MAMEWAH - MAME and Consoles:

What do y'all think?  I'm willing to put them up for download if anyone's interested.

Thanks,
Odonadon

Great Work!  I like the gradient effect in the console backgrounds.  did you do this with Photoshop?

The console pics on the upper left side is a great idea.  Possible suggestion:  Highlight the emulator pic that is displayed on the left side.  For example, if SNES is selected, maybe make the other 3 console pics transparent and the SNES console pic normal with a highlighted border.

Not trying to take anything away from what you have done.  Just a suggestion.  They look very cool!

What a tall monitor you have.  ;)
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

Already done :)  It doesn't show well in these screen caps, but the consoles that aren't in use are B&W.  It changes as you change emulators.  Pretty cool effect.

It was actually done with Jasc's Paintshop.  I much prefer it to Photoshop, for some reason.  Seems more robust to me.

The layout is up for download.  I should've mentioned it's 640 x 480, but if anyone wants to convert, feel free.

I would also appreciate it if someone else could host it - I have it piggybacking on a client's web server at the moment.  It really shouldn't stay there for too long :)  Shhhh... don't tell.
