I would as well, but as this was necro'd from a thread back in 2010, and dermoerder hasn't visted since September 2010, there might not be more to see...  ...hopefully, he gets E-Mail notifications of posts on here.

I give the cabinet a 10 and your image hosting a 1. I hate imageshack. I clicked one of your images. I saw the image, but I also got 2 popups.

I use Imageshack ... properly.  And by that, I mean, I only embed the "Direct" links, so you don't get any popups or such.  If there is a viable alternative, I'd be happy to hear about it.  (By viable, I mean something with batch upload, and that might be able to provide me with 'batch' direct links as well - that's my pet peeve with Imageshack.  I would love to select a bunch of images, and be provided their direct link, so I can cut/paste the appropriate "IMG" tags around them.)

I use the thread stickied at the top to keep all the images at BYOAC. It's a bit more painful, but I've already had to deal with changing URLs and a service thats cancelled.

Martijn beat me to it.  Rick, Picasaweb does a great job with giving direct links nicely and is easy to upload files and folders to.  No pop ups.  Very convenient if you already have a google account, too.

Oh, for crying out loud.  Why the heck didn't I think of using that?  I already have a darned account there, too.  Thanks, guys.  This cold I've had for the past few days is making me stupid.

Picasa is so easy to use, it rotates images correctly, uploads directly your folder you want online, and keeps syncing it.

and you can set online size etc

i actually dont like googles monopoly with all the things its got but this one is perfect.

remindes me of the old days with acdsee  :applaud:

Fantastic job! Let me guess: The side art says "GROG" in the style of Coke.  :D

Still here, actually! Been back now and again, just not logged in, and I didn't think to check this old thread.

But! A lot has happened since I first put together the cabinet, including having a baby and moving into a house... a house without any doors large enough for the cabinet to fit through! For now I have the control panel pedestal inside, with a monitor on a table. I'm currently moving everything over to a newer and much faster system so that we can play a lot of things that were out of our grasp before, like Super Smash Brothers and a bunch of processor-intensive arcade titles. And improve the lightgun situation. Also been putting a lot of new things into the setup, which I'm looking forward to writing up here.

PS: I love that GROG side art idea. :)
