Hope this is in the right section, forgive me if it inst.
I purchased three bar top machines with the intention of throwing some 48-in-1 boards into them.
They have all been stripped down and painted.
New wiring has been purchased and the install is coming up.
I'm using Bob Roberts "How To Wire An Arcade Cabinet" as my reference point.
However I have been unable to locate locally a AC Line Filter & Distribution Block.
So I have decided to do without them, I also noted they were not included in the original bar top wiring.
Two of the bar tops have an isolation transformer like the one pictured.

This gives me no issue, as it only hooks up one way into the monitor chassis.
However I know the black and white forked ends would go into the power supply.
But does it matter which terminal ?
I know its AC, but weather or not the black is the top, white the bottom,or does it matter, this I am unsure of.

The other bar top has an isolation transformer like this.

It has to white wires coming from one end, and two red wires coming from the other.
I know the red wires connect to the monitor, however the clip on the end goes both ways.
Most times the clip will only fit one way as to avoid any problems. However in this case as mentioned it can go on either way.
There is nothing (writing wise) on the chassis to indicate any sort of direction.

Its the same issue with respects to the two white wires on the other end.
I'm unsure how I would hook this up.
I know the main power would come in and black line goto the fuse, from the fuse to switch. But then from the switch does it matter which white wire I use ?
I had taken some pictures and notes when I took the cabinet apart, however a computer crash has left me with most of my notes/pictures.
All I can recall was off the power switch the lines were spliced with two lines going to the power supply, and two the isolation transformer.
Any and all help would be great.
