Depending on how you want to use this, you may want to consider one of Encryptor's Tron restrictors.

Don't think I'll use it. (Too many good tron games out to waste it on the old school light cycle game)

Anyone know where I can get small blue transparent buttons to replace the two red thumb buttons I have now?

That's a Xenophobe stick.  Same stick, but with black plastic and two thumb buttons.

I admit, I did buy one to test on. I just play alot of of games & if this is going to do what it says & restrict me, It wont do. I did read however that you can still hit the diagz if you hit it hard so I thought it best to do some testing. With the new Tron game about to pop in DEC"ish" I don't want to deside untill I have a good idea how it's controls will be...Old school tron arcade is fun & all but I enjoy alot of other games more...

What new Tron game??

What you're saying is you're going to use this to play many other games and thus need the 8-way. Am I right?

Watch this tube vid for the Trailer:

Yes thats more or less what I am saying. Again I did buy a restrictor just to test with..

Looks like the new cycles will be able to to turn in circles & not just in 90 degree angles...

I would guess that such a modern game would be best played with the analog gamepad it is designed for.

And if it's the pc version then a mouse is going to be used, almost definitely...

I'm not interested is useing it to control the FPS aspects of the game. The light cycles are the only part of the game that I think would be easy to play on a stand up. Same thing with Tron 2.0, I can play the LS part of the game on an arcade no problem.. My hope for this cabinet is that It will play most of the different NEWER versions of Light cycles (That I like).

LS:Game Grid Champions
Armagetron
GLtron
FLron
Tron 2.0

& I hope the new tron as well...

PS: Still looking for Blue buttons to replace the reds ones...

Anyone else find irony in the trailer?

"MAY CONTAIN CONTENT INAPPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN"....immediately followed by "DISNEY Interactive Studios"
