DAPHNE HELP

Could someone help me with daphne's setup. I have the files I think I have them setup up right, but it still dosn't work.  I keep getting all sorts of wonderful errors. If you have the time and can pm please do so. Thanks in advance.

One example of my daphne problems
space loads, but i get a black screen finally after hitting every button, I can get the game screen to come up. I start to play but even when I die i advance to the next screen.  When I hit one credit. It gives me 4. what the heck!

Okay first of all, if you want people to help you cant just say "I'm getting wierd errors".  Please enlighten us a bit so we can actually help.

Second of all, what you are experiencing with Space Ace is normal.  No errors.  When you start Daphne (at least on my cabinet) it does take a good 30 seconds for anything to pop up on the screen. I'm not sure why this is.  My hard drive isnt doing anything.  I dunno.  As far as I know, this boot up time is exactly what happens when you fire up a real Space Ace cabinet.

Third, regarding the credits, did you even run the Daphne Loader program?  There is somewhere in there where you can specify how many credits are given for one coin.

yes I went through the loader, yes I know the black screen is normal, but like I said. I get a load screen of black, which then flashes a bunch of screens that say player 1 credit, 2, 3, 4,5,6,7,8,9credits. Player 2 the same. As far as my previous experience with the game that is not normal. Every time I hit 1 credit it loads 5 or 6 credits. I checked the loader I set for 1 credit equals 1 quarter.
Another problem
startig space I got the intro movie with sound.  Now it gives me no sound for intro or it is about 5 seconds behind the video.

what OS are you running and what speed computer?
and that flash of video clips and such is normal mine also does that,
its just a video startup test i suppose that the real machine would do.

Well if the sound is off, I'd say that that has something to do with either using a wierd framefile or your mpegs / oggs are incorrect.

The black screen at the beginning and then the sudden quick flashing of all the random screens (1 player start, 2 player, continue, random debug screens, random ingame screens) that is NORMAL.  Go turn on a real Space Ace cabinet and I'm willing to bet you will see the exact same thing.
