The Dude won an oscar!

The Big Lebowski finally got an Oscar last night. The Dude won it for best Actor. Woohoo! Finally credits for one of the best movies ever.

Saw Crazy Heart the other week. Was the first time in ages i went to a movie on a 'date'. Bridges is great in the movie, but neither of us were really into country music. I guess we both hoped they would gloss over the singing aspect    I thought the movie was a 3.5/5. Excellent performances.

Also, my date was Austrian, so the language might have been a bit bothersome for her too.

I don't know about specifically The Big Lebowski (well, obviously I know that it is an amazing movie), but I thought he would absolutely win for this reason.  I haven't seen Crazy Heart yet, but I think there is already a feeling that Bridges has deserved an Oscar for a long time.  I think people felt he was due.  Now ---Smurfette---, on the other hand . . . didn't deserve anything for past performances, didn't deserve anything for Blind Side.  It's just stupidity and heavy heavy campaigning on her part.

What the???  The auto censor automatically censored Sandra Miss Congeniality's name.  I think I've seen that before here.  Hilarious.
